I tried all fucking day to use docker/docker-compose to set up a telnet server. port 23 was exposed, port 23 was forwarded on the host, ss -antl4 showed me that port 23 was listening, I try to telnet in to the host IP address connection refused, FU. check docker's iptables, nothing denying me access to the docker image. I try and I try and I fucking try.I create an LXC container on proxmox, manually install telnetd, systemctl start telnetd "okey dokey :)" telnet to the LXC container that has a direct IP on my home network, no fucking problems.

@jpm that's what I've heard as well, that once you get used to reduced salt meals, that overuse of salt becomes very pronounced.

@da_667 @DaveMWilburn In case you'd like another simple bean recipe, here is my 'caribbean black beans' I occasionally make.- 1 lbs dried black beans soaked, optionally pre-boiled, and strained- 2 large yellow onions, chopped however you prefer (adjust amount as desired)- 2+ jalapenos, diced. Leave seeds if you want more fire- 2 cans (with juice) or equivalent raw diced tomatoes- 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped (adjust up if wanted!)- 4 tbsp olive oil- 2 tbsp cumin- 2 tsp black pepper- 2 tbsp lime juice (or lemon, or orange, just needs some citrus in it, add more if desired)- 2 bay leaves if you don't mind fishing them out before eating (don't eat them!)- Salt to taste, and no salt is fine- Enough water to just cover ingredients in the pot. You can also use chicken stock for a different flavor- This is classically served on white rice, but goes good on lots of things or is even good plain.Throw everything above in a slow cooker, instant pot, or large soup pot. Simmer for at least an hour with lid closed, stirring every 15 minutes or so to ensure nothing gets stuck on the bottom and burned. Beans should be soft and tastes integrated when done. Serve on rice or however you'd like.
