@baldur This really does summarise where I am. I was already exhausted from fighting what tech was turning into before AI, now it's still that but we can fall faster. Great!

It's a common belief that explaining a joke ruins it, but I think it would be very relaxing to read a book that just pedantically dissects jokes one after the next.@TheShellyTea back in the olden days of watching fan subbed anime, I absolutely loved when translators would not localise jokes, but keep them literally as is, but explain various cultural or linguistic elements at play that made the joke a joke. I felt like I was learning something, and while sure I didn't go "haha" that time, the next time I encountered the joke I would go "haha I get it".
I really miss that a lot.
