I am so sick of the general capitalist culture's habit of evaluating everything on whether it's "profitable" first & foremost & whether it's good, decent, healthy, or moral later, or never. It's a sick way to run a society, full stop. I will never willingly use their error prone, unethical, environmentally disasterous slop machine nor purchase a work from anyone who has. I'm fine being a Luddite on this or whatever else they want to call me. I don't respect them enough to care.

I hadn't considered the pirate option. My main reason for not delisting yet was concern about people who bought my ebooks losing access. I did go in and activate the download option after Amazon enabled that, and thought I'd give readers a while to get around to downloading. But the pirate thing ... hmm.

(1) I've wondered why you decided to set your wolf books in the American south. Do you have some attachment or connection to the area?

(2) I see on your website that you're starting to delist from Amazon. I'm pondering that as well & not planning to list any more of my work there. What site do you find best for sales?
