I am performing my dark dance album manipulate in it's entirety for its 25th release anniversary. It was awesome reworking the material that sonically still kicks the llamas arse.

It saddens me the dark and dystopian themes are only more pertinent in these horrific times. But we will stomp together in solidarity.

Then of course synthpop cover bangers for the people. A few from my REPLICATE 1.0 album not previously performed live, and also a sneak preview debut.

One of the greatest things about our digital neighbourhood music gatherings is the community vibes.

The team at control freak studio have been flat tack for weeks building this new show.

It's hard for #indie #artists to try and have a semi ethical online presence. Even harder when the artist comes from the darker nooks and crannies of he sonic palette, like a boss fight and one of your Famicom buttons is sticking. Last year I arted hard and I am trying to art even harder this year with your help.

Have I reached the end of the verse? It's some of my more "accessible" industrial dance, dark anti dystopian themes, but with bumping oontz and synthpop leanings so I hope you might join us in a good cathartic stomp.

I will be performing my album MANIPULATE in full for its 25th release anniversary. Some tracks never presented live before and of course there will also be synthpop banger covers for the people. REPLICATE!

I have put a hecking lot of effort into building the show and have been enjoying reworking the material that still sounds rather fresh after a quarter century. Hate that absolutely nothing in the world is better and the themes are sadly more pertinent but for ~90 minutes at least we can get together and cut loose and I assure you chat is always welcoming, insightful and fun!

faircamp IS our download and soft paycurtain method already. Doing an opt-in unified player with some maybe kinda potential for discovery is nice but your website is quite unclear on copying or pushing potential resource strain down to artists' hosting.

For the things that if not already in the thread will pop up from the "now do this" dogpile:

Folks need to just keep getting better at directly supporting artists if they actually care. Middlemen are an infinite harassment, annoyance and barrier for artists.

Also crawl before sprinting, there is no ethical payment gateway, grouping or middlemanning payments is a liability speed run to shutdown. Go to artists' faircamps where download and support is zero clicks away instead of up levels and onlynin one spot.

There will never be a streaming or discovery platform for indie artists where you can also stream corpo catalogues and support rhianna's lawyers' yachts.

@sknob don't want to have every single track from catalogue on peertube as audio which would then require more clicks after a click thru to get to downloads and support. want the posted track to be playable and if clicked you are at the right place to download and support.

@elsemusic @freebliss Yes and yes! Points for keeping it small, but we can't really trust deletion requests to actually make the rounds or to be respected. So I would love a turnkey option generated where I host the audio files themselves outside of federated cache land.
