@_L1vY_ It's respite, but taking ANYTHING this regime -says- at face value is likely a huge mistake. They retreat on stuff all the time, or say they are backing down…it's part of the play book
The people in this regime do ANYTHING for power. Lying and hiding their real intentions (when useful) comes as easily to them as breathing.
Going after them criminally in as many ways as possible would be the most effective way of ensuring they go down and stay down.
I miss the NYT pitchbot. they were so concise. The best I have is:
"Some compare the Trump regime to an abusive relationship. But here are some benefits of staying in one even after your partner tries to kill you and your neighbors!"

I mean Pelosi and Clyburn personally going to campaign for anti abortion Cuellar (the guy Trump just pardoned) when he had a GOOD challenger to his left…surely that was just sort of a fluke, huh? Letting Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman get taken out by AIPAC while they both happened to face more moderate Dem challengers (who took funding from????) was also just weird.
@tofugolem right? they coulda had bernie twice. But -that- super popular candidate might have threatened the long running gravy train(s) the already obscenely wealthy have going on in war mongering and general crapitalism.
Because of certain groups quietly knee capping folks who would threaten their gravy trains, we end up with lots of folks who have been deemed as "non threatening" by certain industries. Until more folks see how big money knee caps better candidates, weak Dems will prevail.

Further: ALL the decision makers and players in this program of illegal mass kidnapping, assault, murder, lack of due process (etc) should be tried, convicted and sentenced to real jail time and barred from holding any positions associated with law making ever again. At minimum.
