Figured I should add our retail store here in #Chemainus to my profile which I just did. Here is our about page for the shop that along with my wife we have operated here in #CowichanValley for the last 11 years. We work hard to give the residents a local option for clothing and footwear without having to leave town or head to one of the big faceless online corporate outlets.

If you haven't discovered the mind melting creativity and musical genius of the band Angine de Poitrine out of Quebec #Canada let me introduce you. It's a kind of acid funk trippy punk in a way and is being described as a big FU to #Aislop . I really like the 2nd song the most, keep an eye on the guitartists foot work with the sampling foot pedal. They are going to#viral everywhere right now and this video has over 8 million views already.

@SarahFrumento it is possible to have too much of a good thing, I even get overloaded with active transportation posts etc and get burnt out with the tsunami of information in my face

@Amgine @chris the mute function on Bluesky has been amazing to keep my feed free of people like Trump, Musk, Vance and Poilievre. I will use it here liberally if needed once I get a feel for the "room". Thanks for the welcome

#Bluesky has been a great platform but I think I will try to change things up here and for the time being not follow any news accounts or advocacy accounts etc. Feeling pretty overwhelmed on the other channel with news and politics in my daily life. ️ Now to find some good accounts to follow. Any great outdoor content BC accounts you know of?
