Hi #fediverse. We need to talk about something.
While talking to a colleague about lockpicking it came up that they have never picked a lock. Like, not even once in their childhood.
Another colleague listening in admitted they also have never picked a lock.
My hypothesis is that most people have at one point in their life picked a lock.
Have you picked a lock?

@colinstu The trick, I think, is to pretend to be American, much like how Black Friday is now a British shopping event despite the complete lack of historial and cultural precedent.
But the Pi Day posts showed a definite increase around 3PM my time. In that regard, it doesn't seem to be as much of a phenomenon in Europe
