Telling people to use WhatsApp over Signal, or in conjunction with Signal, is stupid.What'sApp is supposedly E2EE (although I think they just settled a case that alleged they could read your messages, so that's fun), but they collect metadata, which allows them to paint a rather broad picture of who you're talking to and when you're talking to them.
