The Grand Canyon was established as a National Park on this day in 1919.@alexskunz Wow! The variety of colors is mindboggling! I've never been, but the Grand Canyon (and the rest of the American Southwest for that matter) is definitely on my list of places to visit. But I want to go when I can spend at least 2-3 weeks there to really explore the area.
