@Bit_form The Pi model you mentioned seems to still have official support though. It would be weird if the community killed it before EOL.On the other hand generic modules like sensors and displays can be a real headache. I had a datasheet for an LCD giving me the wrong address to communicate with it from an Arduino via I2C. Quite far from what you're doing there, but an example of a bad doc.
