interests and hobbies include any form of public transport on rails (despite suffering with Deutsche Bahn), touching computers (maybe a little too much) and some occasional photography.

in my free time, I made floofPride, tinkered around with my dotfiles and made smaller contributions to ​ GoToSocial as well as the patchset running here. as is probably relatively obvious from some of my posts, I also travel around a lot. I'm also operating jaded systems, under which this instance also falls. haeckse since 05/2024. accidentally coined a term that made it onto wiktionary.

when interacting:

• don't automatically assume I'm fine with being virtually patted, hugged, complimented, etc etc., and don't be surprised if jade ceases communication with you altogether because of a lack of consent in that regard. do ask it beforehand though!
• follow requests are subject to a vibe check (tl;dr have your pronouns somewhere and ideally have a bio and some posts to look at too!), chances are much smaller to get accepted if you're from mastodon.social, and generally widely reduced if your whole life just consists of interacting in CCC circles.
• in terms of pronouns, only it/its and she/her pronouns are accepted - referring to me using any other pronouns knowingly will result in a block.
• and most importantly, do not be the reason why more stuff needs to be added to this section.
