@alexchapman @TheQuinbox @fireborn @gallagher123123 I was discussing this in another thread. I still think the main people who will get these devices are the education market. They want a locked down closed system which allows minimal fuss and opertunities for students to mess up the device.

Well here it is, Selvas is announcing the BrailleSense 7! -
So I heard the Braille Sense 7 will be yet another Android note taker and it's really sad.@pixelate I'm interested in seeing how this one pans out. Some educational establishments may prefer the closed loop system that Android offers rather than providing a general purpose Windows 11 computer that might require more maintenance. I don't think its good for anything else and possibly not even the best option for students either if they don't get trained up on Windows computing, but can see why establishments might want to go that way.

I'm so old I remember when the internet didn't have commercials.@FreakyFwoof @kibcol1049 @TheMNWolf Yeah shame they didn't have a proper screen reader for the Archimedes. It didn't really work without a mouse to be honest.

I'm so old I remember when the internet didn't have commercials.@kibcol1049 @TheMNWolf Yep for example I used an Archimedes to browse the Internet in the early days and midi files weren't a thing on that platform, but we did have lots of repositories of tracker music.
