@LunaDragofelis that still doesn't make it fanservice. A fanservice scene has crystal-clear author's intent that you are meant to find this sexy.

A scene that plays out similarly to a potential fanservice scene but completely lacks all of those queues and on the contrary makes it incredibly obvious you are meant to hate what is being done to Momo and hate the fuck out of those aliens is absolutely not fanservice even if some loser out there enjoys it.

It's like. I don't know, I think author's intent matters a lot here. Are all scenes depicting feet fanservice for foot fetishists too? Frankly I think calling this scene fanservice in any capacity is either absolutely gross or just indicative of no media literacy because it genuinely couldn't be more obvious that you're meant to be deeply uncomfortable.

The nessie arc takes it too far but even that isn't particularly fan service and more just. A joke. Which is why I don't like it at all, it doesn't land with me, and I even think it does invalidate the point of episode one a little bit.

Sorry for how angry I was in the original draft of this reply but genuinely I am just so sick of hearing it be called fanservice at all to anybody, and if I hear one more person point to the scene in episode one and go "gooner anime", I'm gonna blow

And it's not like I don't agree with the fact that fanservice is shitty but a girl being stripped naked by aliens to be raped is not fanservice and the scene was not intended to be that either. That specific scene was very much MEANT to make you uncomfortable because something absolutely horrible is happening to Momo.

@nazokiyoubinbou @Foritus @bimmer honestly I think it being so sharp is one of the things that made me suspicious. It has the vibes of an older anime in colour and all, but it's too high res and it doesn't look upscaled either I think.

LLMs don't really struggle with hands anymore as much as far as I've been seeing, this also might be one of the ghibli ripoff LLMs. I highly doubt any part of the image is real honestly.

@bimmer @Foritus pretty sure it's LLM generated. I was suspicious because of the garbled symbols on the keys and the overall look and feel, but source seems to be some guy on twitter called hacknaut who just posts slop and NFTs
