@amir I use it for german. The most of my friends don't like it, but after using NVDA for many years, it like it. It's fast, don't clicks and is very understandable, at least for me.

Eloquence 64-bit for NVDA now supports a 44 kHz mode.@amir I think that the increased sample rate of 44.1 kHz sounds pretty terrible. The sibilants still sound dull, but with annoying overtones.

Ok just found a quite nice speech to text app for PC which does actually properly work and is quite accessible.https://handy.computerTo clarify: Speech to Text (like dictation on phone), not transcription.@jonathan859 I know it, but I had problems with large Whispper models. Sometimes parts are not recognized correctly, sometimes only exclamation marks and question marks are transcribed.

Dieses ewige Shaming von Fertigmahlzeiten und Convenience nervt.@Katti Da kann ich nur zustimmen. Ohne Fertiggerichte müsste ich entweder sehr viel Geld bei Lieferdiensten lassen, welche oft ebenfalls Fertigessen verwenden, oder kläglich verhungern. Ich kann überhaupt nicht kochen oder ähnliches. Aber mit einer Heißluftfriteuse und einigen guten Gerichten aus dem Tiefkühl- und Kühlregal kann ich mir immer etwas leckeres (zumindest für mich) zubereiten, auch wenn es jetzt nicht wirklich gesund ist.
