That attack in Golders Green was by a mentally disturbed man who that same day attacked a non Jewish man.
But it is being used as evidence of a wave of attacks on the Jewish community.
While the Israeli State's genocide is leading some to turn, without justification, on unconnected Jewish people, it is essential that clarity of evidence is prioritised. Otherwise politicians will do the usual knee jerk of hurried decisions such as bans on legitimate solidarity actions.

@markhburton The politicians making most noise about this are either already in the pay of the Israeli government or want to be.

@markhburton uk radio this morning is all this. No context given but banning peaceful protests is somehow the answer even though the evidence for how that will help is not presented. We’re all supposed to just swallow it.

@annaf And the TV clip of the arrest did look like excessive force, i.e. kicking, so Polanski's comment, although hasty, might be accurate.

@markhburton @annaf might - or might not - the most important thing is to form an opinion immediately🤔 - ideally before gathering all the relevant evidence? /sarcasm 🤔 He was right to apologise. Of course, the mainstream narrative now has moved on.
