    I have somehow forgotten to tell this story: When I went to the shelter to get Miso, they interviewed me and asked if I have three cats, why I wanted another cat. And I said that I just had a shitty year and I was pissed about the election and I thought a cat would make me happy. The woman said, same, I get a cat every time that I’m upset too and that’s why I have 8 cats. That’s when I learned that getting cats are not a sustainable coping mechanism.
