    Feeling personally attacked.

Three voters in my household, and Reform UK decided to send me, and only me, a hand addressed letter begging for a vote.

Contemplating putting together some anti-Reform graphics to throw out on the internet. If anyone has a good source for info that might be useful (particularly with ref to Scotland) please stick a link in reply.

I am aware I could just shout about how awful they are, but would prefer to make them a bit more rigorous.

@eclectech Not specifically Scotland related, but maybe these will spark ideas? https://www.varsity.co.uk/news/31135

@fak Oh that is very good.

Still concerned about people who don't have the same awful visceral response to Farage as I do though. Met one recently. Very alarming.

@eclectech I took noticed that reform didn't think my wife needed to get a leaflet, since presumably I would tell her who to vote for.

@ianturton Pffft! This is one of the things that surprised me tbh. I got the letter and not my other half. Could they be doing it by age? I am a bit older than him 😬

              @eclectech Some possible inspiration:

It's been less than a week since the candidate announcements and 4 of them have either stepped down or been disqualified.

There's already two splinter parties "AdvanceUK" and "RestoreUK" and their press officer also quit.

@BigTheDave Hahaha, FFS. I have no idea how anyone can think it would be a good idea to give these people any kind of influence over their lives.

@eclectech I'll add to the list if I can think of anything else.
MAC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migration_Advisory_Committee) stats on migrant benefit to society might be another thing to look at, but if past experience is anything to go by, facts won't land. 3 word slogans that are memorable, fear or anger provoking, are probably more effective.

@eLearningTechie Thanks! Have bookmarked the thread to come back to later in the week.

I met someone recently who admitted to voted Reform because "at least they're not one of the others" and it really struck me. They at least had the sense to be slightly embarrassed. I think they're the people that need to be the target. Not really engaged with politics, letting pro-Farage media wash over them, but not hardcore right-wingers.

Tricky, because I just want to shout rude words at them.

@eclectech Yeh. It's depressing. That Thiel adjacent lot keep sending me their junk mail, too. Imagine! If they hate us migrants so much, why are they sending me that sh!t? I drew Hitler mustaches on you know who and returned that crap to them freepost.

@eclectech Oh yeah, I got this letter. They are *definitely* targeting the middle aged white male home owner demographic.

I hope they have the chutzpah to knock on my door, because they will be told *exactly* where to go.

@krans You are not the first person to mention this, and it's making me wonder why I got it in our household instead of the other half. Feeling more insulted by the minute. Also mild concern that I'm doxxing myself to some Reform goons when they look back to work out how they sent it to a woman 😬
