The day before any big launch (Pedometer++ v8 tomorrow 😳) I always have such mixed up feelings.

The day before any big launch (Pedometer++ v8 tomorrow
) I always have such mixed up feelings. Almost universally I feel pretty rubbish and that what I'm about to ship isn't any good (even when feedback has been very positive). I've had this feeling enough times that while I wouldn't say it is an old friend, it is perhaps an expected intruder.
I mention this just as a reminder to myself (and everyone) that it is totally normal, to be expected and doesn't actually reflect on the work itself.

@_Davidsmith Good luck! In my experience, it's the ones who DON'T worry that I have to worry about!

@_Davidsmith
indeed. thanks for sharing itit’s even more difficult when one launches a product that gets almost no traction because it’s prob quite good but different than what most users would expect, so you have to do the same work of knowing that it’s all learning and that its success or failure doesn’t define you, and pick up the pieces and decide if keep trying or just start again, and learn as much as possible, and “just keep swimming”.

Someone once told me that all those flaws and minor annoyances you see - ONLY YOU see them. You'll get to them in a point release, and maybe 2% will notice the change then.
Relax, the audience is going to be amazed!
