I've told my children not to touch a gun if they find one at a friend's house or somewhere out in the wild. If they find out a peer has brought a gun to school, they should calmly find an adult to tell.
ETA: it's illegal in the USA for a child to buy a gun or ammo.
So again, I applaud you in your choice of comparing ChatGPT to guns.

LLM use has been shown to be associated by a dramatic degradation of both critical thinking and problem solving skills. Don't let your kids do LLMs, drugs are probably safer.
