Look, I don't know if I could truly choose if given the options, but I am wearing socks with pineapples on them and do wish I could have more socks with fruit on them... But wow, the bees and the shrimp have a similar appeal

@sinituulia all? Why for canβt I wear them all??? lol I have cute bee socks and blue whale fabric and the fruit socks and a half complete shirt with colorful skeleton dinosaurs with bright flowers, so literally all of them are YES PLEASE!!!

@sinituulia I count myself lucky as to not possess such a variety of Very Good Socks, as it would lead to a decision paralysis whenever I'd need to ensock myself.

Well, obviously they'd be wearing a hard hat, or holding a clipboard, or have a shovel or chef's hat. And so on.@sinituulia the bees, you say. The insect, along with the ant, most associated with hard work, to the point of there being not just one but several folk tales and children fables, in many cultures, about their hard work. How could we possibly imagine them with jobs.

@adriano I figure I could spend at least a leisurely hour coming up with all kinds of different cute outfits and tools for bees to indicate that they have jobs.

@sinituulia I only see silly socks like these at markets and in the kids section, never as knee highs for adults. A travesty! I also want to be adorable!

@sinituulia Ironically, I think in Richard Scarry's Best Word Book Ever bees are just insects flitting by, they aren't citizens of Busytown.

@weirdofhermiston I have a couple with bald dinosaurs, which are fine but not what my heart wants... The fruit socks are luckily fairly bountiful so it's possible to find them without issue!

@sinituulia Indeed, it is a strong hand of socks to have.
(I lament quite often to my spouse on the blandness of modern sockage, although I've found some with small foxes now to make me happy. The foxes are not working).

@sinituulia Bees, because I've done fieldwork with pollinators.
Edit: the bees in my socks would probably have bakers hats, shovels, buckets and maybe frying pans, since I associate them with food and gardening.

@Gulleko My feet are small enough to wear children's socks, but the quality is usually nothing to write home about, and they're usually only ankle or ballet slipper length... The socks, I want them knee high also!

(I lament quite often to my spouse on the blandness of modern sockage, although I've found some with small foxes now to make me happy. The foxes are not working).
@nihkeys While it's possible to find a multipack with different single colour socks, a lot of them are just black, grey or white now? And that's fine but... Please, I require the whimsical sock for morale purposes. I have the reasonable socks for looking like an adult already!
