Fact: I spent most of the LA Riots in a school lab trying to recreate Riders on the Storm (The Doors) using analog processing equipment and a MIDI synth for a studio music recording class (poorly, I would say...). Got an A because the prof gave everyone an A since the whole semester was completely shot, really... glad I did not get gunned down by one of the over-eager rich white frat boys with AR-15's on the fraternity row
