@xocolatli @isaactly_s you may be surprised to learn that using a language is only viable if the intended audience understands that language

@isaactly_s Honestly, "garbagefighter" sounds pretty awesome. Way better than "garbage collector" or whatever. Anyway, that term's been coopted by the software industry.

@DekaBlack @isaactly_s well if you rather be a 'fisherist' or 'fishingyperson' go right ahead, but 'fisherfighter' (or 'fishfighter') is a total win in my books.

@xocolatli @ratsnakegames @isaactly_s and English is very much one of them? Other than the pronouns, which I understand most people in fact prefer to have, and job titles, which are so trivial to fix we're literally in a thread for a meme about it.

@xocolatli @virtulis @isaactly_s ok so you are saying we shouldn't make minor changes to English in order to remove its gendered elements but instead just all learn Algonqian because that is way easier.

Do you not realize how stupid that sounds?

Also, if you do not care about gender neutral speech, just keep out of conversations about it. Nobody likes a concern troll.
