Iran keeps hitting oil and energy infrastructure. This is how they got the US by the balls. Trump can't afford a forever war that brings gas price through the roof ahead of the midterms. He's in deep shit.

And that's the thing with drones.. easy to build in mass quantities and hard to defend against, there's no way they can have anti-drone protection in every country around Iran.

Iran doesn't need to destroy the US army or even kill US soldiers. They just need to make gas expensive. And there are many ways possible. That's what hurts the west. And they know it, it happened many times before! The previous oil crisis aren't exactly a secret.

Iran was also supplying tons of drones for Russia in Ukraine, it wasn't hard to guess that they would use their own weapons if they got attacked.

And now the Israelis have hit an Iranian gas field. The Americans say they weren't involved. But this is just going to make gas more expensive for everyone. Perhaps the Israelis have decided that their major benefactor is in decline so they might as well go for broke?

@hamishb I think Israel realize it's their last chance, they have been dreaming of bombing Iran for decades. But they know the political window is closing so might as well go all in.

Same for Lebanon, time to hit while the headlines are on Iran, and if they can gain some territory, they know it will be permanent and they can keep achieving their dream of Greater Israel.
