These fines need to be wealth graduated like in Scandanavia.

The old fines for careless driving, racing and stunting are $567 but after March 13, are $852.
(The fines for speeding depends on how far over the limit a driver is caught at.)

Fines for other common traffic offences, such as distracted driving, will increase by 30 per cent. The province says what used to be a $300 ticket for distracted driving will now cost $390.
