Drones over northern Kyiv — Obolon and Troieshchyna
During the night of May 5, 2026, drone activity was detected over the northern districts of Kyiv. Monitoring data indicates that three unmanned aerial vehicles were observed over the Obolon area. One of the drones was heading towards the TEC-6 thermal power plant in the Troieshchyna district. The movement of the aircraft is described as erratic, making trajectory prediction difficult. This behavior poses a direct threat to the city's critical infrastructure.
