      @VintageEdmonton
      That first one seems like an early version of something from the Midnight Star or Weekly News kinda thing.

        @VintageEdmonton

        I couldn't find a number, but one assumes there must be thousands of chick-sexing experts in the world today.

        It's amazing that what is today a factory worker job was once greeted as a celebrity.

          @number6 @VintageEdmonton

          The one very-short portion of a larger documentary on farming(?) I saw some years back left me creeped out at the result of this. Necessary? Likely. But still left me feeling uncomfortable.

          (And FTR I think it is important to know that our meat and dairy products ultimately come from real animals, which is why family meals with my kids involved discussing exactly that for every meal with meat. One downside? How many adults were annoyed with one kid who preferred the phrase "dead pig" over "pork" when asking for a favourite dish. πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚).
