      I wonder if the silly naming is part of what helps people get away with this.

          one of the people most infamous from those scandals was literally elected to be our Bundeskanzler (Prime Minister) AFTER his ties to the tax fraud wer discovered
          fucking Olaf Scholz
          even worse is that he was a better PM than Friedrich Merz currently is

                          @GossiTheDog That part is Latin, actually. (As in "Cum Laude" - when someone has achieved something with honors.) English uses "Cum Ex" to describe this scheme too:
