People may have privacy concerns about completing the census. But there are good reasons for filling it out! The Government uses the information to decide how much to spend on social programs, etc. Only the aggregate statistics are released by Statistics Canada. And as a genealogist, I know that in 92 years, when the complete data is released, my descendants will be able to find out a few things about me.
