"And the people in the houses
All went to the university,
Where they were put in boxes,
And they came out all the same.
And there's doctors and lawyers,
And business executives,
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky,
And they all look just the same." -

@kerravonsen
When I was young, the most well-known recording of the song was Pete Seeger's. That's where I first learned it. But as I later discovered, Malvina Reynolds was the originator, and her own recording of the song had a tart acerbic snap to it which led me to prefer Malvina's version, (much as I love Pete in general). -
