Our local fascist/republican congressman is touring our region doing events/dinners (I'm guessing to raise funds) so folks have been showing up to protest outside his events. It's a solid red MAGA area so he likely assumes that he'll not be bothered/confronted but today will be the third or fourth event where he's having to deal with the working class rabble showing up to tell him to go fuck himself.
Related, I hope folks out there are taking it upon themselves to continue protesting between the big No Kings protests. If those protests are all you're showing up for you're not doing enough. Help organize a group of people and go stand on a street corner to protest. Of course the undeclared illegal war crime against Iran and Lebanon, but also the embargo against Cuba and ongoing genocide in Gaza.
We won't stop fascism with quarterly one day protests. That said, the next big national protest is Friday May 1. Come out for it.
