    Bonnie Henry presser - Hanta doesn't spread like Covid 'which lingers in the air for a long time'

    NOW SHE SAYS THAT!!!

    From 2020, Covid doesn't go around corners to admitting it's airborne

    God she IS awful

        @MatWright she knows she'll be able to spin the news about an outbreak into making her look good. So many people still think the best of her.

              @MatWright try to calm down. The story says up to 42 days.

              Are you one of those people who can only understand rigid rules that never change?

                  WHO '40 days is the basic isolation minimum to ensure no onward transmission or mutation'

                  Henry '“As we see the situation evolve globally and here that might be extended as far as the full 42 days,” she added. “But as you can imagine, that’s quite a burden on people and it’s challenging to stay in one place for that period of time, especially as the risk diminishes over time. So we’ll be reassessing that on an ongoing basis.”

                  I would not put her in charge of a crosswalk

                    @MatWright Do we even know whether "self-isolation" includes airborne transmission precautions? Dr Henry has so far spent a lot of time emphasizing how hanta is not transmitted "like covid"

                              @MatWright

                              There should be a specific word that ALWAYS denotes a period of EXACTLY 40 days.

                              The word could even be synonymous with isolating on a boat at anchor (for public health).

                              The genius would be that as people began to compromise and bargain about shortening the duration, the word denoting a period of 40 days wouldn't change. So everyone who misused this word denoting a period of 40 days to refer to a shorter period would have to denote what they did each time they said the word.
