      @LeeM you're reading it all wrong. Look at first preferences. Lib vote collapsed, it didn't matter where they directed preferences, PHON on nearly 40% primary won it for them, not preferences

        @LeeM *sigh* they had 40% of the primary vote. There was no way they weren't winning that seat.

        Preferences deals had almost no role to play in PHON winning, and we'll know more once someone does an alluvial diagram.

        If anything, Labor running dead in the seat helped PHON get such a high primary vote.

        Honestly, your analysis of this is patently wrong
