The AI marketing droids are jedi mind tricking your boss into thinking AI codes better than you do. It doesn't. It approximates a pattern it thinks is best. The pattern is a weighted approximation of everything it has gobbled up. And if that pattern is anything close to what I've seen in my career, it's around 28% decent code, 2% golden awesome, and 70% shit.
Oh and half the shit source code in the pattern is only shitty because it allows execution without validating its context correctly (or at all lol). And AI might try to do it's pattern matching parlor trick to the best of its ability, but it can only be contrained into a context as well as the user inputs it, and from the implied context of what it has consumed - it still can't evaluate it meaningfully or "understand" it (Ai being not actually intelligent), so...
Admitting defeat to the point I skimmed over, the jedi mind trick has worked so far. Your boss will probably (or has already) still gut some other critical budget to buy this crap and demand the parlor trick. Be safe everyone.
