They can be such sweeties. But when I was sick, I didn't appreciate my dog bringing me "something to eat" and emptying his stomach on my pillow. -

@0xabad1dea dogs are such sweeties. My husband fell in his den, and one of our corgis was so disturbed that he continually tried to climb on top of him as he lay there. In my opinion, the dog was trying to keep him warm.
Same dog licked my husband's severely arthritic feet when they hurt.
We really don't deserve dogs

@deepmud @0xabad1dea there are seizure assistance dogs that are trained to do this when their people fall down. Good pup!

@0xabad1dea Aww, my Bubba Oaken used to do that. When I got Lyme and barely got out of bed for days, I wouldn’t let him be on top of me all the time, but he stayed right beside me in the bed, very loving. Also think scared because normally, I get out of bed in the morning and don’t get back in until bedtime, and me not getting up was alarming.
I hope you feel better soon and that Odin feels reassured.
