    @ottaross unfortunately I am extremely allergic to almonds (will stop breathing) which kills me, because it's the best alternative flour for baking.

      First Annual "Everybody Bakes the Same Cake" event.

      In 2025 there were zero participants… because it hadn't been started yet!

      This year, there will probably be one participant, (Someone prove me wrong!)

                @mathsciwhy sure, it's vaguely intentioned toward the weekend (sat & sun) but if it drifts into earlier next week, all the benefits still apply. 😊

                  The rules for EBTSC are basically just bake your version of the target cake recipe this weekend.

                  Either follow the recipe or make your take on some version of it, and share as much or as little of the experience as you like with the hashtag #EBTSC.
