Maybe part of that push is coming from the family who owns the Ambassador Bridge? They wanted compensation for "what they claim is the new bridge's infringement on their exclusive right to collect tolls."

The prez endorsed Gordie Howe International Bridge in 2017, despite the Detroit-based family appealing to stop the new crossing.

A former governor of Michigan is correct. Trump's latest blackmail attempt, his threat to not open the Gordie Howe bridge over the Detroit River until he gets a piece of the action, is "foolish and ridiculous." But that describes his entire administration.

The fediverse should not be ripping off public broadcasters of their journalism. This is an incredibly bad look and @crispius needs to do better.

I don't care about the motivation; you do not own that content. Share it where it is and allow fedicitizens the right to either consume it or not. You do not have the right to post content that you do not own. Period.
