All of my wife's extensive family are Brewers fans. Through all my travels, I have remained an LSU Tigers fan.
Standing on the dividing island on North Avenue, Sunday morning of game day. Not a soul on the street. A land yacht painted in LSU #461D7C with an imperious black woman, no less than 70 I'd say, in matching attire, pillbox hat and a flying veil thrown back, at the wheel of a huge Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.
She took a left hand turn onto St Ferdinand Street. I didn't have my camera.

@diazona And you post about Python? I’m currently learning Python (for data work, largely). … And let’s make ultimate a more prevalent topic! 🥏 do you play and/or watch the UFA (AUDL)?
@alecryan Oh don't mistake me for a good player! I couldn't possibly play at the pro level. But I do watch their clips on YouTube occasionally, and I've seen seen a couple games live. I kind of prefer watching the club games though, they feel less "sanitized".

@diazona Same. Far from pro level player, but I do enjoy playing in some competitive rec leagues and the likes! I hear you on club games. I love the UFA though for the ease of keeping up with teams and streaming and such. Can follow it like I would baseball or football, ya know? And the added visibility it brings the sport from the occasional ESPN coverage is pretty cool. #UltimateFrisbee

@alecryan Yeah that's very true! I guess I've never been one to care enough about watching any particular sport to get a subscription for it, but I'm definitely glad the UFA exists and makes that model available for people who want it.
