@gsuberland well they do single out translations as its own option. they did at least listen to this part of the feedback they received.

@ozzelot ehhh, the MPK is more like a mini music keyboard so it's mostly just the pads at the top and maybe the knobs I could use, but given how many faders I have at my disposal here it's already pretty ridonculous.

@ozzelot I think I can also technically use my Pioneer DDJ-FLX10 as a huge MIDI surface, but that would be extremely disorientating to use in this context lmao

@ozzelot if I had an APC40 then I'd 100% use that here, 'cos the rotary encoders on that are lovely, but one of those costs over 4x what an APC Mini Mk2 does.

@gsuberland on the last new years eve the guys from the other floor had a fullblown gma2 replica plus fader wing they bought on aliexpress for 2k or so and it somehow made its way through customs and they managed to get it running with original software

it was kind of impressive and they told me their computer must never ever ever ever be connected to the internet. not sure i would do this for myself but i was a bit jealous 😄

at some point I need to build myself a little USB MIDI thing that's just got a bunch of nice jogger knobs on it, maybe with a nice laser cut diffuser so I can have an LED ring around each one to mark positions.
