@alexanderdyas On the other hand, legacy and leaving the world better for next generations, is part of "afterlife" - especially if you're a parent.

This is where having #BehavioralScience as #CoreEducation would be exponentially beneficial: Set Theory teaches parent and child subsets, that make this math much easier to process and delegate proportionally. Single solve mindsets derived from failing Capitalism countries, is too much of a drag coefficient leading to further destabilization. We're long past due for an #education #revolution.

@EvoScale Two very different versions of a similar idea.

You will live forever in an afterlife once you’re dead, so what you do now doesn’t matter.

        Vs

You will live forever after you die in what you leave behind, so what you do now is important.

@EvoScale I'm not convinced that it is important to leave behind a legacy, work that people will remember you by. This seems an arrogant, egotistical idea, and implies that if you leave no footprint, your life might as well not have happened. What a terrible way to judge someone, in life or after.

Simply doing no harm is enough.

          Don't be a dick.

@alexanderdyas @EvoScale The important thing is not being remembered for it, it's having done it. Leaving the world a better place than you found it. Planting the tree that one day people who have no idea you even existed can sit under and be shaded by.

@woe2you @EvoScale Lovely idea, and it makes for a great metaphor as well.
