Good grief, how wrong this is! To paraphrase the law, if I fear harm, then that is enough to qualify as assault in criminal law, and given Glinners direct statement, if I were ever in the vicinity of Glinner or those who agree with him, it would NOT be unreasonable for me or any trans woman to genuinely fear physical assault.
That such a thing therefore is simply classed as difference of opinion is extremely troubling and I can only hope that if Glinner or his ilk were to substitute 'trans' for ''black' and 'female' for 'white' this would be given much more serious consideration for tye violent rhetoric it clearly is.
