Question about Affinity photo.
I looked it up online and could not find relevant topics. I am painting as usual and when I color sample, at random interval the color I sampled is replaced by a bright red which is the default color when nothing has been sampled.This basically makes digital painting impossible. This only shows up in the new version.

Not offering any solutions (wish I could) but to me it looks like a bug. I guess you could contact Affinity support so they can work in a fix for it? And in the meantime I think I would try to revert to a previous version that worked properly... (I don't even know if that's a possibility for you). -

#affinity #affinityphotoGo to [Help > Send Feedback] and report it to Affinity, where the bug report will be ignored for a minimum of ten years by their developers. More likely just ignored indefinitely, because they have a serious leadership problem.
For now, perhaps press and hold the "Colour Picker" tool (shortcut key I) instead.
It's not nicknamed "Affinity Workaround" for nothing.
