Tomb :: Folder Encryption on GNU/Linux - Tomb Manual

Tomb is a system to make strong encryption easy for everyday use. A tomb is like a locked folder that can be safely transported and hidden in a filesystem.

      Right. Um.

      1) I set up a new tomb, create the key file, set its password, open the tomb, close it, then open it again to test it.

When I open it, I can type anything in the password field and it lets me open the vault. This should not happen.

      2) While it's open, I test how changing the password works. I enter the old password, enter the new password twice.

Once done, I can no longer open the vault at all - with either the new password *or* the old one.

      This should not happen.
