@gamingonlinux You say there’s no easy answer, but there is. Move the repo away from Github. I recommend Codeberg. They don’t have AI bots, they don’t encourage AI and their terms of use states that any AI contributions must be clearly marked as such. Github isn’t going to fix this, they’re literally run by Microsoft’s AI division now

@gamingonlinux Very sad to see how AI kills everything nice. But instead of murdering terminators, it is killing via some AI bros that want to boost their GitHub stats (or whatever the reason for their PRs is).

@gamingonlinux it's about time for them to limit PRs to humans-only and forbid the use of AI in either writing code or text.

let's be real, whoever wants to contribute will take an extra step to learn how the code works (or be open to it), instead of just submitting AI slop. they will be interested in writing things themselves, instead of using AI.
