Urgh. Sadiq Khan, one of the very few #Labour people I had any time for, has drunk all the Kool-Aid, and is in lock-step with #Starmer on his over the top and irrational response to the attack in Golders Green.

Given that the third victim is Muslim, like Khan, you'd think he would have used the opportunity to distance himself from Keith, perhaps by alluding to the fact that there wasn't an immediate £25m security funding for the Muslim community.

@MiaMarkTwo Exactly.

@HarriettMB The way the whole thing's been weaponised against Polanski, simultaneously suggesting he's antisemitic and depicting him in that cartoon (I think in the Times?) in a way that could have been taken straight from Nazi propaganda of the 30s, is such a blatant repeat of what happened to Corbyn. Hopefully prospective Green voters will be able to see it for what it is.

@MiaMarkTwo I think everyone sees it for what it is. Labour are desperate - they know they are going to lose lots of seats all over the place. Reform[Farage] avoided Sunday interviews because he’s got a thin skin and can’t deal with straight questions. Both are hoping that by flinging mud and avoiding questions sheeple voters will vote traditionally. Starmer’s niece [Sandover] being parachuted in to replace long-standing reputable councillors has not gone unnoticed either.

Certainly they will.
#Polanski is more eloquent, adroit enough and can bat away many expressions, making a fool out of Trevor Phillips, who at one stage asked why his manifesto no longer contained "Dancing Druids in water fountains"

@HarriettMB Yeah, I saw Farage had pulled out of LK - as if he'd get a serious grilling from that stooge
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the corporate media have both milked and exploited the situation.
And don't get me started about Rowley's "intervention" - as blatant an attempt at election interference by law enforcement as Comey did with Clinton in 2016. -
@AnguaDelphine I’ve been saying, since they murdered Jean Charles de Menesez the #MetPol should be completely disbanded, and no serving officer allowed to join another force. It’s rotten, racist, politically controlled, misogynist all the way through. It’s so bad it will never change for the better.

@Stevenheywood @HarriettMB It seems to me that Labour Together wants the party to become something akin to the "one nation Tory" brand that was so successfully purged by Spaffer.
