L’uomo, che ha presentato richiesta di protezione internazionale in Italia, è stato arrestato lo scorso 30 settembre dietro mandato dell’Interpol, ma sulla vicenda pesano diverse ombre. Il 5 marzo la Corte d’appello di Roma dovrà pronunciarsi sulla richiesta turca, con il rischio di subire in patria una persecuzione politica. Il ministero della Giustizia avrebbe il potere di decidere, come ha fatto con Abedini o Almasri

The man, who had applied for international protection in Italy, was arrested on September 30th following an Interpol warrant, but the case is shrouded in several shadows. On March 5th, the Court of Appeal in Rome must rule on the Turkish request, with the risk of suffering political persecution at home. The Ministry of Justice would have the power to decide, as it did with Abedini or Almasri.
