@WeirdWriter I have several misgivings about Be My Eyes as a company, starting with their management of applevis. I'm glad they're taking the right step at least with what they're known for

@PepperTheVixen I do strongly think that they will go down the enshittification ramp because they are a company but I did like that statement. I want them to pay their AppleVis staff but i’m pretty sure that will never happen what are your gripes?

@WeirdWriter They do very little moderation on applevis. I've witnessed multiple posts that are easy to suss out as alleged scams. When I replied to one such post, the applevis account publicly informed me that they don't moderate those sorts of things and its user-beware. I refuse to be part of a community whos moderators care so little for the users of a vulnerable population
