    The Document Foundation announces the release of LibreOffice 25.8.7, the final maintenance release of the LibreOffice 25.8 family, available for download at https://www.libreoffice.org/download [1]. Users of LibreOffice 25.8.x should update to LibreOffice 26.2.x as LibreOffice 25.8.x end of life will be on June 12, and after that date the software will not receive additional security updates.

Users of LibreOffice 25.8.x should update to LibreOffice 26.2.x as LibreOffice 25.8.x end of life will be on June 12, and after that date the software will not receive additional security updates.

      What’s the upgrade path for 25.x to 26.x?
      Is it a case of uninstall & install 26.x fresh? Or does an in-place upgrade give you the choice of opting for 26.x?

      (I have actually looked on the website but it doesn’t make this clear.)

            @ArdentArchivist It's a bit hard to answer, with no details about your setup... How you update depends heavily on your operating system, for example.
