26 years today since the final "Peanuts" Sunday comic strip was printed on February 13, 2000. Published just a day after Charles M. Schulz passed away at the age of 77.

It used a slightly different format than usual, and featured several callbacks to some of the most memorable scenes from the comic's near 50-year history, bittersweetly serving as a final goodbye to his readers.

@adhdeanasl @fringemagnet It broke my heart, though, that Sparky didn't use the final strip to show Charlie Brown successfully kicking the football then getting kissed by the little redheaded girl.
