Interview: Iranians cannot trust the US.

Eg, during the Iran-Iraq war, the US & allies aided Saddam. Germany provided chemical-weapons materials & the US, the delivery systems.

When Iran asked the UN Security Council to condemn Iraq's use of chemical weapons, the US vetoed it.

Plus, in recent years, the US has attacked Iran during negotiations.

"Iranians have good reasons to be skeptical of US  intentions".
