Since the GNOME 50 release, there has been some misinfo going around. Let's clear it up:

    Q: Does GNOME 50 support systemd-homed?
A: No, GNOME doesn't support homed (yet!!)

Q: Did GNOME drop Xwayland support?
A: No, we only dropped the X11 session. You can still use X11 apps on GNOME

Q: Did GTK drop X11 support?
A: No, GTK 3 and 4 still support X11. Support was deprecated in GTK 4 and will be removed in GTK 5, which right now is in its planning phase; however, once GTK 5 is released, GTK 4 will still be supported for many years to come
